-
UCAR GPS/MET
-
Details the GPS/MET experiment which uses signals from GPS satellites occulted
by the Earth to demonstrate active limb sounding of the atmosphere. GPS/MET
can take temperature, pressure, and other measurements at hundreds of points
on the Earth every day, extending from near the surface up through the
ionosphere.

WW2010
Satellite Meteorology
-
An educational module which examines weather satellites and their capabilities
in detail, focusing on two satellite orbital groups in particular; Geostationary
Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES) and Polar Orbiting Environmental
Satellites (POES). Finally, this module demonstrates how to interpret visible,
infrared and water vapor channel satellite imagery.

Dundee Satellite Receiving Station,
Dundee University, UK
-
Dundee Satellite Receiving Station has images from all NOAA (AVHRR) satellites.
They also maintain an archive of all images received since 1978. Other
satellites received and archived are Nimbus-7 (CZCS) and SeaStar (SeaWiFS).
They also receive images from Meteosat, GOES-East, GOES-West and GMS. In
the near future they will also receive from EOS-AM1 (MODIS).
